1978 Mercedes SL 450. Not going to try and sugarcoat anything.. This car has been my daily driver for about ten years. Engine has been "tired" for quite a while-- no pep. Last month driving home from work it was like someone threw an anchor out and the car all but died.. Starts and runs, just doesn't respond to throttle at all. Put a fuel pump and filter on it--no difference.. NOTHING about this car is "show" quality,has some rust,soft top needs to be replaced,(doesn't leak too bad)--just a good looking old Benz.. Will have to be trailered..18" Lowenheart rims,has descent tires, one brand new(probably still has the paper on it)--it does!! that is picture of the tire up close I just added!!. Engine may have to be rebuilt or may be a fuel delivery problem.. It is what it is!! Not going to try and guess what all the parts are worth individually.. Selling all,, as is!!
