Good day/ evening. This is a matching numbers vehicle. The VIN number is: 194678S403974. If you're still interested stop by and see the vehicle or send a mechanic to check it out. Saturdays after 2:30PM are good for me and Sundays all day. Weekdays are tough. This is a beautiful 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible with a numbers matching 427/435hp Tripower engine. It is an L-71 and has a 4-speed manual transmission, leather seats, a 4:11 rear with a wide-ratio shifter and rallye ovals. It has a shale roof that is color-matching to the body of the car and a black rag-top roof that must be replaced. I haven't replaced it because different people like different colors. This has been extensively restored to as original as possible. I have kept all the original parts that were replaced in the restoration. It's not a perfect car, but a ton of money (about $80,000.00) was spent trying to make it as perfect and as original as possible ( I have all the receipts and photos to prove it). The interior is fine, but if you want to bring it to show quality it should be redone. It has a few minor scratches as a result of transporting it, but the paint is in good condition with it's 5 coats of PPG clear coat paint over international blue 978 code.
