This listing is for a 1953 Willys CJ3B in original condition. Motor runs great, low miles since a rebuild, oil pressure is 50psi. at idle. Anyone who has rebuilt and engine knows the work and expense involved. Here is an entire Jeep, for the price of the engine alone! Frame is solid except for rear cross member, which should be replaced. Grille, hood, and windshield frame are in good, restorable condition, body tub is in rough shape. Vehicle is drivable, however, it has been in storage for about 3-4 years, so brakes are not working at this time, I believe it's the master cylinder. As stated in an earlier listing, clutch was stuck but is now free! Dash is complete, with all original gauges and controls. Everthing seems to be here except for the original seats, it's just going to take a little work to get it back into shape. I purchased this Jeep with the intent of doing a full restoration but I have to many projects and don't want to leave this one outside for the winter. Jeep comes with some extra parts such as: a pair of WARN locking hubs, spare gas tank, some steering parts and new master cylinder, can also include a pair of caliper mounting brackets, for fromt disc brakes, if desired. NY has no titles for vehicles 15 years old and older, using only Bill Of Sale and VIN tracing. Asking price is $1,200 but no reasonable offer will be refused.
