Vehicle Detail

Hello. You are bidding on a 1966 Nova/Chevy Two hardtop. This car is originally equipped with, and still has the original 6 cylinder engine with Powerglide transmission, manual steering and manual drum brakes. It`s been a California/West coast car all of its life and has never seen a snow covered or salty road. Starts, runs and drives well. Being a 6 cylinder car, it obviously has never been raced, abused, or hot rodded. The wheelwell lips have NOT been cut or altered for tire clearance. NO aftermarket shifter, rollbars, or butchering of the engine bay or wiring. Engine compartment remains original/stock. Headlights, running lights, turn signals, heater fan, gauge/idiot lights all work, but will need a new headlight switch. Steering column and box are tight, car steers well. Interior is tired, but mostly complete and unmolested. Door panels and dash pad are in nice shape. The dash has not been cut up for aftermarket gauges, radio, buttons or switches. The body is super solid, and has never been in any kind of a serious accident. All panels are original GM, and no, this car is not packed with a bunch of body filler, major rust, or bad bodywork. Other than the below mentioned items, there is a few spots on the exterior of the car the should be spot blasted and sealed, but absolutely no rust through, weak spots, or needing panel replacement. Will need MINOR rust repair on: A spot the size of a silver dollar on the side of the battery tray patched. A few pinholes on the front corner of the passengers door. A couple spots on the rear portion of the lower trunk floor. (absolutely does NOT need trunk floor replacement) Quarter panels are straight and solid with original spotwelds. Trunk is super solid with minor surface rust in some spots, again, only needing some spots in the rear lower well patched. Trunk drop offs are solid and straight, floors are perfect. Front clip, doors, roof, decklid, doorjambs, and rockers are all super solid. Doors hang and shut good, so do the hood and decklid. Drivers door is obviously a replacement, but is also solid and straight regardless of the primer job. All glass is in nice shape, most of the trim, grill, etc is straight, and in good shape. Take a good look at the pictures, you`ll see that I have nothing to hide and the car is meticulously described. Overall, this car is basicly a tired, unrestored driver that doesn`t need anything close to major bodywork or costly panel replacement. POTENTIAL BUYERS, PLEASE READ: I have described this car as honestly and as accurately as possible, and to the best of my knowledge, but please, if you need additional pics, or have any questions, ask BEFORE bidding as this sale is final with no warranty and I want you to be happy with the car. SERIOUS buyers can call me at 530 307-8973 with legitimate questions about the car. Please don`t waste your time or mine with lowball offers as I won`t respond to them. I am not losing my house, getting married, having a baby, etc. Also, the car is available for inspection at anytime BEFORE the end of auction, and I do reserve the right to end auction early. BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 5 FEEDBACK WILL CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING AS I WILL CANCEL YOUR BIDS OTHERWISE. I HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH NON PAYING BIDDERS IN THE PAST AND IT WILL NOT HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. SORRY! Thanks for looking Larry
