Welcome to my auction for a most unusual 1981 Volkswagen. This is the T3 (aircooled) model. Original color is a pale taupe, but has been resprayed green. Then someone dabbed a different green with a small paintbrush! Not a lot of rust, what there is, is superficial. Drives well, just been serviced including air filter, timing and carburettor rebuild by my local expert (R & S Motors). 2 spare wheels. All tires have sufficient tread. All glass is good and doors shut with a satisfying 'Clunk' - typical VW! Side at the back all drop down - a most versatile and handy truck (I carried home a three seater sofa - those drop sides were really useful! Interior is scruffy, but there are new window winders! There was a new bed installed before I got it and the sides have always been lined with plywood. It was used to fetch and carry between Marinas which is why the mileage is so low. The carb kit is being installed as I write, so all will be done by the time auction ends: this includes new air filter. Plywood is well screwed down so couldn't lift it to show new bed plate. Under staorage area is shown too. Oh, and two new front door window winders, plus a Haynes WSM will come with the vehicle.
