Up for sale is my 1978 Porsche 924 offered for auction with a low reserve. It was my uncle's pride and joy until he passed away a few years ago. It is a San Francisco car, thus it does not have a/c but it does have a sunroof that can be removed and placed in it's sunroof cover. Yes, it really only has 36K original miles. It's a 4cyl, 4spd manual which runs and shifts nicely through the gears. It's a fun little car that is a Porsche. I had a 912 and this 924 does have more power and is more fun to drive than my old 912. The tires are fairly new. I just had the car serviced and smogged for California so it is ready to go. Interior: The dash does have a few spider cracks around the vent and speaker. I do have a dash cover which covers the top dash nicely. The seats have no rips, tears or wear marks and are in great condition. The carpeting is nice and covered by custom floor mats. The rear hatch area is covered as well. It has the original working am/fm blaupunkt radio. The clock even still works. Exterior: The original white paint still shines. There are a few rock chips, a small scratch on the front passenger side as well as a small door ding on the driver's door. Other than that it's in great condition I will include the front "bra" as well as the original owner's manual and any other extra "stuff" that I may have. All the electricals work properly. It is a 32year old car so it is not perfect. Do not bid if you are expecting a new car. I don't drive this much and it's sitting in my garage. I would like to find it a new home to someone who would appreciate owning an entry level Porsche. Please check out the pictures, I've tried to show pictures of the above flaws.
