Offered is my beautifully restored 1966 mustang convertible. The restoration on this car was completed 5 years ago and the car has logged about 3000 miles since that time. It has been garage kept and meticulously maintained. It is a frame up restoration with new black vinyl interior, new black carpet, and a new black convertible top which goes up and down with a smooth running electric motor. New tires,new Ford ralley chrome wheels, a new dual exhaust system, and new brakes and brake lines. The car has power steering but it certainly is not the power steering of todays automobile standards. The C4 automatic transmission was completely rebuilt 2 years ago and shifts smoothly. The engine is a 289 V8 and runs very smoothly with no problems but is "not" the original engine. The paint is a beautiful pearl white and the front and rear chrome bumpers are new. This car turns heads where ever it goes. The car is not perfect and I will explain what I am refering to...The side windows and windshield are the original glass. The glass does show some normal light scratches and the chrome surrounding the windshield and windows does show some pitting and the wear of being 44 years old. There are a few tiny blemishes in the paint job but nothing that is noticable unless you are looking closely or it is pointed out. This car is nice, it is not a show car but a beautiful daily driver that is a joy to drive on gorgeous summer days. The car is currently stored in North Carolina and the buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping arrangements. $500.00 is due to paypal at the close of auction and the remainder in the form of cashiers check upon pickup Feel free to ask any questions and I will answer them honestly and in as much detail as possible.
