Vehicle Detail
Well I had to do it sometime....... I am listing a few projects that I have collected over the years.... Check my other listings.... I will start all auctions at 100$ and all cases I have way more in them, and let them go from there... with NO RESERVE! If you bid be prepared to pay! Ask as many questions as you want up until the last 12 hours of the auction... I will try to answer as fast as possible with pictures or other info that you request.... my email is suckafreesk8@gmail.com Up for auction is a 1976 BMW R75 /6 SERIES 750 CC. I have a North Carolina title ready to be transferred to your name! The true mileage is unknown since I am not the original owner. This bike has sat for a few years collecting dust in my shop. We recently moved and I have put it into storage. I had hoped to eventually fix up all the bikes I am listing... due to $$ and time I won't be doing any of them. I had stored it correctly with the tank drained and the carburetor ran out.... It has good compression and leaks no oil. It has a 5ft paint job... (it looks good from 5 feet or so but closer you see imperfections and whatnot.) It is not the original paint job.. I believe it was brown originally. I had intended to do a swap with the /2 frame I am also listing.. (like most of my projects never got around to it) It has a solo seat I have never seen a seat like this before or no the manufacturer maybe custom made?? The horn and head lights work good. I had it running and driving last summer. The gears shift good and the breaks stop well for a heavy machine. It has the master cylinder under the tank so its hydraulic breaks (first year for these as I recall) It has the tire pump but no tool box. I do however have a tool kit rolled up that I believe came with it so that goes with it... I have the mirrors and a few other odds and ends for it... The turn signals are missing. Maybe other things are missing?? It will crank up and idle fairly easy but the carbs are probably gummed and need a good tuning and synchronization. It has original Bing carbs seem fairly easy to work with especially if you know about them or someone who does. It defiantly needs a good going through to make sure everything is tuned up and in order before hitting the open roads... I am starting the auctions at $100 because I have no idea how much to ask for the bike but figure that's a good starting point... You decide what its worth.... What else is there to say? Let me know if you want to know any specifics. Or feel free to come out and see it in person... Graham, NC. I can photograph or answer most anything. ( I don't know much about these bike specifically but can find my way around most things with engines....) Shipping is on you... or you can pick it up in person no problem. I will help you load it...
