Vehicle Detail
Forced sale due to divorce: Up for sale is a 1946 Ford convertible. It has a 1941 front end but is licensed as a 1946. I found the following information regarding the car attached to an appraisal we had done for insurance purposes. If you need any additional information besides what I have listed below, I will try to answer your questions, but I am not a car expert. That was his thing, not mine. I have no idea what most of the things listed below are or mean. The car is being sold as is; I know it runs and drives ok since a friend of mine has started it up every other week on a regular basis. It has been garaged since we purchased it and was garaged by the previous owner as well. The car has won several awards at various shows. I will send the trophies with it. It was also featured in the 2002 special collectors’ issue of the Americruise magazine (from the editors of Rod & Custom), and was also listed in the April 2007 edition of Cruzin’ (a N.W. car magazine). I will send both the magazines and the trophies along with the car. I hope the information I have listed below is adequate along with the pictures for you to make a decision since as I said previously, I know very little about cars. I have set the starting bid well below what friends of mine have suggested because I have faith in eBay bidders that they will buy it at a fair price. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I reserve the right to remove the listing at any time in the event that the vehicle is sold locally since the vehicle is being advertised locally as well. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding. 1970 350 cubic inch corvette – Keith Black built motor B&M 144 Supercharger with blower pistons (8:1 slugs) Holly Street Avenger 670 cfm carburetor Crane cam 278 – degree stick MSD electronic ignition K&N Filter Polished brackets, pulleys, blower and manifold Chrome alternator & air conditioner compressor 700-R4 Auto Transmission Balanced & Polished aluminum drive line Heidts Rack & Pinion front end with tubular A-arms Polished Alston 4-link rear set-up Polished stainless steel exhaust system Polished stainless Super-ride air-ride suspension Polished stainless gas tank Power brakes Front – Wilwood / Rear – 11” GM disc brakes Moser-axled limited-slip 9” Ford rear-end Power steering, windows and seats Power lift trunk Power top Banjo steering wheel Tinted windows Vintage Air / Heat with climate controlled unit Cruise control Electric windshield wipers Pontiac Grand AM console American Racing wheels with Goodyear tires – 20” rear & 17” front Molded rear fenders Rounded deck lid corners Street works LED tail lights Seats: gray & maroon leather & velour upholstery Dodge Daytona bucket seats…front and rear Dash: Bitchin’ leather dash Dakota digital vacuum fluorescent read-out gauges Panasonic AM/FM CD, 2 - MTX Amps, Polk Audio, 2 SAS Bazooka drivers PPG frost metallic silver with PPG gold-to-purple Harlequin flames Lots of other Billet accessories
