This is a 1981 turbo trans am special edition black with gold turbo wheels and gold pin stripping. the car has t-tops with 52000 original miles.THIS CAR IS VERY COMPLETE. dash has no cracks, seats are all in good condition. all glass is good, not cracked. floors,quarters,fenders,rockers,sub frame,shock towers,frame rails are all in great condition. as far as the engine compartment , there is nothing missing, washer bottle, over flow radiator bottle, turbo waste gate , air cleaner are all there. nothing missing. the radiator support is good, where the battery is. this car has virtually no rot. the turbo lights in the hood are nice, trunk pan is in perfect condition, and it still has the original spare tire and jack. this car runs, but i believe it has a spun bearing. i do have another short block motor that ran great,to replace the rods and bearing if need be. THE SPARE MOTOR COMES WITH THE CAR. as far as surface rust, the hood from the bird has surface rust, not deep. high build primer will work. same for the top of the quarters. the surface rusted areas have been primered to preserve any further surface rust occurring. the car was outside for about a year and a half, but since i have owned it, it has been stored in doors. as far as i can see, cosmetically . the car needs the nose emblem, t-top handle covers and turbo wheel centers,passenger side rear seat area where you put your feet, floor pan is a little soft (a spot the size of a baseball) easy fix. also the deck lid shows some rot around the edges, (on the inside of the deck lid) but hing area of trunk is all good, not rot. IT IS A 4.9 301 TURBO 33,493 MADE THIS 1OF 6,612 BLACK T TOP CARS MADE. THIS CAR CAN NOT BE DRIVEN HOME, IT NEEDS TO BE TRAILED AWAY. I CAN DELIVER FOR A EXTRA FEE WITH IN 200 MILES.
