Up for sale is my pride and joy, 1989 FJ62 Toyota Land Cruiser. It will hopefully go to someone who can appreciate it. It's my daily driver, runs like a dream, and has never let me down. It just turned over 153,000 miles and everything is completely bone stock. The only thing I have done is coated the OEM steel wheels. New within the last 6 months: High output battery, alternator, BFG All-Terrain 31x10.50s, Kenwood CD/MP3 with 4 factory replacement Kenwood speakers. It has a perfect glass all the way around and perfect paint. A/C and heater are both great. There are 3-4 very minor dents/dings from the last 20 years but nothing you couldn't fix easily or touch up. The 4wd works like a champ, I usually throw it in once every month and cruise around town to keep it functioning. You do have to manually switch the lines on the solenoid to disengage the 4x4 but it never bothered me, it's common for them to go out on the FJ62s. You might as well pop the hood while you're unlocking the hubs in anyway, right? I've driven the truck on several 5+ hour trips and it's performed great. There is one hole on the drivers seat which is very good given the age, all other upholstery is in excellent condition. Interior lights in front and back are still functional. I've tried to be as thorough as possible and I know I will think of more things to add. Buddy at The Cruiser Shop in Dallas can attest to this being one of the best around. It truly hurts me to put it on the market and I hope someone will give it a good home, it's been a real champ. I'm saving up for a new home and I can ride a bike to work everyday so it goes first.
