Vehicle Detail
1997 Honda Valkyrie Tourer GL1500 with Cobra pipes… 22k miles CLEAN!! Factory saddlebags, factory shield--- LOW RESERVE!!! Cobra pipes give it extra power (like it needed it in the first place) and plenty of rumble so that you are heard before you are seen! Hear it on this YouTube link! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0c_LgYl-3Mg BRAND NEW METZLER FRONT AND REAR TIRES with less than 1k miles! (NOT CHEAP) BRAND NEW HONDA AIR FILTER installed this summer! BRAND NEW PA inspection sticker ALWAYS stored in my attached / climate controlled garage, ALWAYS covered and babied to the max. ALWAYS changed oil with Honda factory specified oil & filter after every trip, properly maintained. ALWAYS used as a touring bike on long trips, never been used for short hops. ALWAYS starts up and runs flawlessly every time. PERFECT tank with no flaws Upgrades include: Cobra 6 into 6 exhaust Kuryakyn Dually Highway Iso Pegs Hondaline chrome front fender extension Honda 2001 Valkyrie seat (known to be superior in comfort & design) Chrome Dipstick Chrome Oil Plug The Iron Horse genuine leather USA made handlebar pouch Bike is not perfect and shows a little use here and there, is a beautiful eye catching bike that receives constant compliments from everyone! Let me describe the ‘nit-picky stuff’ that I notice that you may not notice right away so that every detail is noted: There is some light scuffing on the saddlebags that I did my best to take pictures of (please look at them), but it doesn’t show up well to begin with. This could for the most part be buffed out if so desired by the new owner. As well there is a very small indentation on the front fender that doesn’t show up unless you purposely set out to find it, and even then it is tough to find. I took a picture of it as well, but again it doesn’t show up well at all. The factory shield shows very light scratches from cleaning it over the years. It also has a slight discoloration in it that can be seen if you stare at it long enough. A teenie TINY chip of paint is off of the rear fender at the back (this could easily be covered up by getting a chrome fender extension). The bike could use a really super good cleaning with the bags off to get to the chrome behind them, the back wheel could use a good cleaning, OTHERWISE ---this thing is REALLY NICE! ALL OF THESE SMALL INPERFECTIONS ARE HARDLY NOTICABLE UNLESS YOU HAVE THEM POINTED OUT TO YOU! I AM JUST MAKING SURE YOU KNOW AHEAD OF TIME! Please see my other auctions to be listed by the weekend for the factory exhaust that was taken off of this bike very early on. On Sep-13-10 at 08:15:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Reserve lowered, the very next bid removes the reserve all together. This bike will sell. This is a steal as I paid double the reserve amount only 4 short years ago. The pictures I posted of this bike do not even come close to doing it justice. This thing is ultra clean with no leaks drips issues nothing. On Sep-14-10 at 16:39:51 PDT, seller added the following information: A potential buyer noted that my exhaust system may actually be manufactured by Two Brothers rather than by Cobra. I am looking into this further. Either way they are very nice and designed well for performance and sound.
