1938 FORD 2DR SEDAN HUMPBACK 350 TUNED PORT INJECTION overdrive tranny only 4200 miles since ground up show quality restoration. I really hate to see this one go but it's just too nice for a redneck like me to be driving around in I have only owned it for a few months and have already put over 2000 miles on it it's a great car that is very solid it was obviously built to be a show car but I've been driving it everywhere I go like it was just another comuter car I have really enjoyed it but it's just more money than I need to keep tied up in a toy right now. Exterior: Just look at it it's really a looker I would guess this car has been built for several years and kept tucked away there are a very few blemishes from use and at least two of those small chips have happened since I bought it but you really have to look to find something to pick. Super straight down both sides. Centerline wheels on like new tires. Even the firewall has been wet sanded and buffed to remove any orange peel the bottom of the car is as nice as the top I would never call one perfect after all it's over 70 years old but it is by far the nicest paint and body of any classic I have owned in my 20 years of collecting . Shaved door handles with key fob operated electric windows to get in . Interior: I was told it is ultraleather and tweed it has sculpted door panels and headliner, ice cold a/c, power windows, that can be activated from the key fob ,electric trunk release autometer guages no rips or tears plenty of room and it's very comfortable I rode in it for 4 hrs last thursday just like riding in a late model car. Mechanical: 350 tpi 700 r tranny mustang II front suspension disc brakes vintage air Runs drives and handles great I haven't had any mechanical problems all of the wiring looks factory , the only flaws that I can think of is a very very slight exhaust leak possibly from the left header flange but again it is slight and hardly noticeable Overall this is one very nice high end steetrod at a reasonable price I would say it was probably professionally built . I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere and the mileage will vary because I am driving it daily of course with an old car anything could happen if you start out cross country but if I have to drive 200 miles tomorrow this is how I will get there .
