Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1994 Pontiac Firebird Project car. I bought the car to fix up but I don't have the time to finish it. The body is in pretty good shape. It has a dent on the driver side rear quarter panel and the lower rocker panel on the passenger side has some rust and broke through (I have a replacement panel for it that I'll include with the car). The driver side fender is an aftermarket plastic fender and is a little faded from the sun. The interior is pretty nice. The seats are in good condition. The adjustment lever on the driver seat has the plastic part broke off but is still useable. The passenger seat is missing the seat belt guide on the headrest. The steering wheel is beat up and kind of spongy. The center console lid is broken off. All of the power windows, power locks, and headlights work fine. The car has the 2nd gear start button for the transmission. The motor is a 3.4 L V6. The ground wires that bolt in right below the throttle body and the wire that connects to the lower part of the throttle body have been broken, I still have the connector so it can be repaired. The motor needs to be replaced. When I bought the car it had a blown head gasket. I tried to replace the head gasket but someone previously tried to remove a broken head bolt in the block and drilled into the block. So I gave up trying to fix the car up. The upper intake (plenum) is off of the motor but is included with the car. I've found some used motors for around $500, so it is possible to get a new motor for the car, fix it up and make a profit from it, but I just don't have the time right now to do it. It'd also be a good canidate for an LT-1 or LS1 swap. The car is not driveable. It will have to be trailered. I do have a clear title for the car. Please ask any questions before bidding. If you'd like to take a look at the car before bidding just send me a message and I'll arrange something. A deposit of $100 through paypal is do within 3 days of auctions end and the rest is to be paid prior to pickup unless other arrangements are made.On Sep-08-10 at 08:46:18 PDT, seller added the following information: One other thing I just remembered is that I replaced the ignition lock cylinder because when I put the car in park some times the cylinder wouldn't go back into the lock position so I couldn't get the key out, this problem still occurs so it's probably the shifter cable is stretched out and needs to be replaced.
