my husband's friend built and restored this VW lovingly with all original parts with loving care eight years ago. he stored it for two years. sold it to me for two years. i stored it. then sold it to my friend who stored it for another four years. i just bought it back from him and now im storing it and never drive it. the odometer doesnt work. but it probably has less than 5K miles since it was restored on the engine. its always kept in the garage and i need room for other things. there is nothing mechanically wrong with it. it drives great. the seats and interior were done by our friend who does the show Pimp My Ride. it is super clean. cherry except for: needs window roller-upper thingys. needs windshield wipers. a few scratches were put in paint by the guy who installed the one-piece windows, but they are super minimal. the paint is pretty much perfect. and i think the breaks are pulling a little to the left. asked mechanic. he said no biggie, but i don't want to spend anymore money on this car. just want to get it out of garage. i will take a check or cash! you can take car after check clears. :) i guess thats it.
