You are bidding on a one-owner well maintained Chevy Blazer. It had developed a radiator leak and overheated. I recognize those two statements are in conflict, but the family took pretty good care of it overall. It overheated on an expressway and had to be towed. Next day a mechanic got it running and once over 40 mph it ran fine, but now that it has been sitting for a couple of weeks it won't start. His assessment is coolant is leaking into the combustion chamber and has to be at higher rpms to burn the coolant. It could be a head gasket leak or a cracked head, but can't tell without a tear-down. The motor has not been disassembled, so an accurate assessment is unavailable. It's a risk. As a running vehicle, it's got a few quirks, the A/C has to be recharged every spring, the key fob will not unlock the power doors, intermittent wipers are intermittent, you know, high mileage stuff. The only visible rust is at the bottom of the tailgate (see photo). Tires and brakes are good, outside of the motor issue it's in pretty good shape. The interior is in very good condition and the black paint looks good. It's not my truck yet. It belongs to a buddy, if it does not sell I'm going to take ownership.
