Vehicle Detail
I would almost say restored,..... but I just kept the car in excellent mechanical and physical condition. This car is an investment and you "take care of your toys". Finished in classic Porsche Alpine white lacquer with black leather interior , this 1984 911 Carrera Cabriolet is as beautiful as it is original. This Porsche has never been in an accident, wears all of its original paint, is completely stock/unmodified and it's dangerously close to perfect. This first-year 3.2 Carrera Cabriolet is a very unique, now-classic tribute and clear visual relative to the original 356’s and Speedsters that so often sported this same, iconic Porsche color combo. The Can Can recently re-upholstered leather seats are standard, non-powered, and were just professionally recovered recently and are flawless. Everything on the car is Porsche, "No Substitutes".This 911 is equipped with desirable options include raised-hub Sport Steering with a wood grain Dino Steering Wheel (standard on Lamborghini's), cruise control, The service (valve adjustment, new valve cover gaskets, new spark plugs, cap and rotor) has just been performed , and all fluids are fresh. . The manual black top has just been replaced and is brand-new. Everything is unique and beautiful on this turn-key time capsule. The original manual, service book, spare tire, compressor, tool kit, car cover, and boot/tonneau cover are included along with the car’s service records/receipts.This stunning, unmolested 911 is fully-serviced, just-detailed, and needs nothing but a good home. As you can see from the pictures, the winning bidder will be breaking in the new seat upholstery and the new convertible top with a rear window that looks like a "sheet of glass". Winning bidder can see and feel the pride of owning and appreciating their investment as well as having some fun in the process. The mirrors, wheels and headlights really update the car to a style I wanted. I have classic car coverage for 25k full coverage is 350$ a year, provided you don't use it as a daily driver. This is my weekend car as you can see from the mileage since I have owned it. I bought the car in November 1995 while living up north. I knew the owner and he just had the Trans serviced with all new syncro's and a new clutch. I did a block-up rebuild on the engine. I pulled the entire motor apart and replaced everything in the engine that would wear and bought the car back to near new condition. Rings, tensioners, camshafts, valves, guides, chains, rails, pins, stretch bolts, etc. I still have the pictures and a box of receipts. I put the car on the road that June and had to break the engine in. The car didn't need to be rebuilt, it was just piece of mind when I broke it in. I really didn't see ever selling the car, so if I hit my price on here and a few grand more, I can buy my employer's 930 up north. Otherwise I'm happy keeping my car. So realistically the engine and trans only have about 7k on them for the winning bidder. The book value of the car is about 25k and you are definitely getting more than what everything is worth on this investment. I will help in shipping in having the car dropped off at a terminal or being picked up, provided I have clear funds prior to leaving my house. There is a small dent on the driver's side rear quarter the size of a dime.I could have easily fixed it for around 80$. I was told not to fix it and let the new owner see it that way I can sell the car without any body work done to it. It was like that when I bought it 15 years ago and you really don't see it, so for a 26 year old vintage car, I can live with it. I DO HAVE THE ORIGINAL FUCH'S WHEELS,MIRRORS,STEERING WHEEL, AND HEADLIGHTS AVAILABLE. I WAS GOING TO RUN THEM IN A SEPARATE AUCTION, BUT WILL SELL WITH THE CAR IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT. EMAIL IF YOU WANT PICTURES OR A PRICE FOR AN EXCHANGE OR PACKAGE DEAL. I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR CASH FOR THE CAR.
