Prior to me this was a one owner Palm Beach car. 64k original miles with a clear title and clean carfax. I live out of state and I only use the car a few days a month when in Florida. Garaged kept when not in use. I have spared no expense over the past year in my obsession of making this car drive like it did when it was new! A number of suspension components that use rubber parts were starting to show their age and were replaced. It runs and drives beautifully with no issues. An unexpected job re-location forces sale. I have receipts for the following work: Timing belt Struts and strut mount bushings A-Arm bushings Left and right half-shaft assemblies (CV joints and boots) Front and rear brakes including rotors New tires Cooling system drain and refill with new thermostat New spark plugs and wire set Transmission fluid change with filter Oil and filter changes THE POSITIVES: This car is clean, sporty, and somewhat unique - for not a lot of money. Very reliable and mechanically sound - the car runs cool, tight, and quiet. A lot of expensive drivetrain / suspension work has been done. The paint is glossy and the leather is in good condition overall. The power top WORKS and the fabric is in very good condition. The A/C blows cold and does NOT leak. All power options work. All instrumentation works. A very good value for an entry level German sports car. THE NEGATIVES: ( most of these are too faint to be seen in the photos) There are faint scratches or swirl marks on the trunk lid. There are faint scratches and scuff marks on the hood. There is one door ding on each door. There are three small scuff marks on the drivers door. There is a faint fuel stain below the fuel door. The rear window is cloudy. There is a small area of wear on the left bolster of the drivers seat. When operating the power top you have to lower the power windows prior to selecting the top down switch. If you don't do it in this order, the car gets the sequence mixed up! If the car does not sell on e-bay, look for it at The Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Las Vegas this fall. Lot #BR549.
