Vehicle Detail
For sale, my '71 Demon purchased through Ebay a little over three years agao. The car started life as a manual slant six and has been transformed into what you see here. The exterior of the car is beautiful with one minor flaw (see pics). The interior is basically stock except for a 4-speed instead of a three on the tree. The car is powered by a 360/390 horse crate motor with less than five thousand miles on it. The newly rebuilt 4-speed (Passon Performance) transfers power to the 3.91 Sure Grip rear. All lights and gauges work. The car has won several best of show awards. I purchased this car on Ebay for close to $19,000.00 listed as a turn key driver. The car was not quite a turn key ride when I got it. The trans needed to be rebuilt, the rear was shot and an assortment of smaller items were wrong or missing all together. I spent a couple of thousand dollars more to make things right and now I am offering it for sale again. I know the car market is not what it was a few years ago and I will most likely take a loss on this car. The car starts and runs flawlessly every time. I drove it to Carlisle for the Chrysler show and was surprised to get a little over 16 mpg on the highway. Inspections are welcome, any questions just ask. The complete vin will be given to anyone who requests it. Come and see the car for yourself, nothing to hide.On Sep-04-10 at 03:47:31 PDT, seller added the following information: If anyone is interested, the '72 Valiant pictured with the Demon is for sale also. It has a '71 340 motor with aluminum heads, a MP race crank, a Comp Cam solid lift roller cam, and many other performance upgrades. The frame is tied, 6 point cage, it has Super Stock springs, a built 727 with reverse manual valve, line lock and on and on. It will run 11.50's in the quarter with 4.30 gears. Right now it has a 3.91 Sure Grip. On Sep-06-10 at 05:55:04 PDT, seller added the following information: I had posted several more photos of the car and they were available to see for a few hours and then they disappeared, don't know why. The high bid is less that two thousand dollars from the reserve. If the car meets reserve, I will include two A-Body bucket seats complete with tracks to the winning bidder. These would need to be recovered but other than that they are in good shape. I would add a picture of them but it probably wouldn't work. These can be broken down and put in the car if transported. Thank you to all for your interest.
