It currently has 39,343 miles. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle with it last been checked over in July 2010 at 38,738 miles. The front tires have approximately 60% tread remaining. The vehicle appears to drive well with no apparent issues. The exterior is in fair condition. The front bumper has approximately 5-6 small nicks/chips. The hood has approximately 3-4 small chips/nicks, plus a few very light scratches. There is a small scratch on the driver’s side “A-pillar” near the driver’s door mirror. There are light scratches around the driver’s door keyhole & on the edge of the driver’s door and driver side passenger door. The roof/top of the car has a plugged & sealed hole from where an antenna was previously mounted and 3-4 small chips/nicks. There are 4 areas where chips/nicks are present on the rear bumper. The passenger side front & rear doors have paint chipping off the molding and there is a dent & scratch running along the lower portion of both doors as well. The passenger side rear wheel well has rust beginning to form on the leading edge. The interior is in good condition. The driver’s floormat has a hole in it from normal wear & tear. There are 2 small screwholes to the left of the center console from where a mic holder was previously mounted. The dash is beginning to separate along the top of instrument cluster. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Mar 2010, at 38,236 miles, the bulb contacts for the right rear inner taillight were repaired. In Feb 2010, at 38,185 miles, the left rear brake light bulbs were replaced. In Oct 2009, at 37,970 miles, the brake lines, right front struts and stabilizer links were replaced. In May 2009, at 36,963 miles, the connections at the right rear turn signal bulb socket were repaired. In Nov 2008, at 36,882 miles, a public works radio antenna was removed from the top of the car & the hole plugged and the right rear turn signal bulb was replaced. In Apr 2008, at 35,568 miles, the windshield wiper linkage assembly and both wiper blades were replaced. In Nov 2006, at 32,687 miles, the spark plugs were replaced and both outside mirrors were replaced due to criminal damage that occurred while the vehicle was parked in a City parking lot. In Jan 2006, at 32,610 miles, all four tires were replaced. In Dec 2005, at 32,604 miles, the main linkage for the left windshield wiper was reattached. In Jan 2003, at 23,147 miles, the left front tire was repaired. In Oct 2002, at 20,901 miles, a belt was replaced. In Dec 2000, at 12,723 miles, the wiper motor linkage assembly was reattached and both wiper blades were replaced. In May 2000, at 9,647 miles, the transmission cooler lines were replaced under warranty at the local Ford dealer. In Feb 2000, at 8,141 miles, the left front tire was replaced. In Oct 1998, at 1,946 miles, the fuse for the power windows was replaced. Copies of the vehicle work orders will be transferred to the new owner. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process. We cannot accept “Buy It Now” offers or trades. High bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle from Champaign, Illinois. High bidder is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs.
