1979 PONTIAC TRANS AM ONLY 20,000 ORIGINAL MILES!! NOCTURNE BLUE W/ DELUXE HOBNAIL INTERIOR! ORIGINAL UNIROYAL TIRES LOW RESERVE You are viewing a 79 Trans Am that is a true survivor. The car is exactly the way it left the dealership in 79, never cut or abused. The CB and Chapman alarm are original dealer installed items. The car is the very desireable Nocturne Blue and Deluxe Hobnail interior, 6.6 Liter V-8 Big Block, with Auto Trans. This T/A is 100% rust free! Body is straight and paint is very nice. Jambs & underhood & trunk look great. It is 99% original paint (looks like only the shaker & rear spoiler have been painted). There are some imperfections such as a couple of dings that won't even show in a pic, a small spot near the trunk lid that is wearing thin (pic), and some discolored spots from tree sap. But the car is beautiful and you'd be crazy to consider painting it! Left grille needs replaced. I have the original bill of sale & all of the original glove box contents. I am the third owner. The weatherstripping is perfect soft & supple. The interior is absolutely immaculate, just plain perfect! Still have original floormats. Never smoked in, the ashtray looks new. The car has the deluxe interior. Everything works as it should. Even the A/C blows cold & the clock works! The #'s matching motor runs great and car drives & shifts smooth. Engine compartment is very neat and original, the red wires are from the alarm system. The suspension & steering are tight and the exhaust sounds great. Brakes are perfect. Body bushings and suspension bushings are what you'd expect from a 20K miler, nice! This car still retains its original Uniroyal RWL tires from new! Although I'd replace them if you were gonna make it a driver. The trunk is like new & still has the original unused spare with inflater bottle & jack. You can see from the pics that the frame rails and floor pans are perfect. I really mean no rust, rockers, bottoms of doors & quarters & fenders are perfect. This car also seems to be fully loaded (no t-tops) w/ PS, PDB, PW, Tilt, Deluxe Interior, A/C, Rear Defrost, PLocks, CB, AM/FM (sounds great!), etc., etc... I am not a dealer, I'm a small car collector and a local businessman in my community. My point is that my reputation is more important to me than selling this car & I welcome anyone to come take a look at this beautiful car.
