Porsche Club of America Member Owned 2001 Porsche 911, Arctic Silver, Black Leather Interior. Sirius Radio. K40 Radar Detector. RUF Front Bumper and SpeedART Rear Wing. 2nd Owner. Clear Title in Hand and Clear Car Fax. Very well maintained. Remainder of dealer purchased warranty until mid-September. Used as a light daily driver only when weather is good. Never seen snow under my watch. Never tracked, but has participated in two Chicago Area PCA Autocross Schools. I purchased this 911 in September of 2006 with 31,000 miles on it. In 2007 I added a RUF Front Bumper and SpeedART Rear Wing. Both were installed by Barrington Coach Haus, a specialist in German and Italian body work. Paint and fit look factory installed. I also added a Sirius receiver with custom front plate to look OEM. The car came with a built in K40 Radar Detector which works beautifully. I've noticed a decent 5 MPG boost in highway fuel efficiency since the install of bumper and wing which was an unexpected but nice bonus. The on board MPG meter has shown 30 MPG on flat highway at 75 MPH. An added feature is that the rear wing is NOT permanent. It is designed to be taken off if desired with no modification to the existing OEM wing. It's simply bolt on. Exterior is nearly flawless. No major scratches or denting. It has 2-3 very minor dings that have to be hunted down to see. Wheels show moderate curbing from previous owner. I had planned on replacing them eventually, but never got around to it. The wheels are structurally perfect and unless you're looking for curbing, you really won't notice it. Tires are good for a few more seasons. Rears have about 5,000 miles on them and were replaced 1 year ago. Fronts have about 5,000 miles left. I can do the measurements if you request. The pictures you see are with the car as dirty as it ever gets. It will be detailed before delivery. Interior is very nice as well with the driver seat showing only mild wear. No tears anywhere. Center console is body colored from the factory. Drivers side mat is worn from clutch action and the car will have mats replaced prior to delivery. Maintenance is always performed at the dealer, MotorWerks of Barrington or Fischer Motors, a Porsche specialist in the area. I have all maintenance records for your review. Most recent repairs were in August 2009 and included: clutch replacement, rear main seal replacement, and ignition switch replacement. The only defect I know right now is the horn which isn't working. I can have it fixed prior to sale. This is a very solid, well maintained 911. It's not a garage queen, but I would put its appearance, mechanicals, and reliability up against any 911 on the road. I would not hesitate selling this car to a friend or family member. It's that good. You are welcome to arrange to see the car and/or have it inspected by your mechanic or Fischer Motors.
