This Suzuki Samurai is all original except for the addition of an Alpine AM-FM cassette radio. It's in great condition with the typical signs of usage. The extremely low mileage of 44,674 is accurate. I have owned it for the past 10 years, using it primarlly during summers at the New Jersey shore where it's been garaged during winters. The previous owner was a doctor and a neightbor in Hoboken, NJ who kept it as a second car in the event that his wife may be away with their primary vehicle when he might have emergency calls to his assigned hospital on Long Island.. For years, from my window, I would see him move the car only for street cleaning. I bought the vehicle with 28,000 miles when he was transferred to Duke University Hospital and no longer needed it. It recently passed NJ state inspection and I believe the 5 tires are all original and that the spare was never used. At their age, perhaps they should be replaced. The top should be replaced because he had his license plate number stencilled to it to prevent it being stolen as had happened at one time. There is a dent below the left front headlight which had been caused by my brother-in-law who thought he would do me a favor by starting the car in the garage at the shore one winter but didn't realize it was in gear when he released the clutch and it lurched forward into a picnic table. So much for well-intended favors. This 5-speed manual car is fun to drive, The engine is strong and the carburetor was recently replaced - probably the need to do so caused by non-use off-season. I'm selling this Suzuki only because we have three vehicles and can't add a fourth when my wife buys a new car this fall and feels that I should take her present car which she would occasionally need to use inasmuch as she doesn't drive standard shift.
