This is a NO RESERVE Auction for a 1963 Plymouth Fury Two Door Hardtop with Bench Seat & 4-Speed Includes the $4,000 Control Freak Independent Front Suspension System I purchased this car two years ago as a personal project. Other than installing a new Control freak independent front suspension system with rack & pinion steering and coil over shocks, we just got too busy in the shop and it has been sitting. Now it's time to find it a new home because we are retiring from the hot rod business. The car is a project vehicle and needs work along the rockers and lower quarters, very common on earlier Mopars. Painted in black primer, this car has a factory bench seat with 4-speed along with a 413 engine. It is not the original engine because I believe this car actually had the 361. It also has an 8 3/4" rear. The great thing is that all the exterior trim is with the car. It's almost impossible to find anywhere. All of the trim is in expected original condition. The wheels are 15" with black steel rims and original Plymouth dog dish hubcaps. There is 275 rubber on the rear and all the rubber appears to be relatively new. The interior is in pretty good shape but the door panels are rotted and need replacement. legendary will probably have replacements. Frame rails and torque boxes appear to be solid but a previous owner put in a rear floor pan over the old one, so it needs to be done correctly. The usual areas need attention, such as the lower rear quarters and rocker panels. The engine does have a miss, but I have not had the time to diagnose it. The brakes are not hooked up. The exhaust system consists of headers with a bullet-style muffler. Sounds very good, despite the miss.
