This is an original paint California Pontiac Catalina 2+2. The paint code is RR. That means it is red outside and red inside. The body on this car is great. No previous damage and no rust except a spot about 1/4 inch by 3 inches in the center of the trunk pan. A true 99.9 percent rust free California car. It still has the original black and gold license plates. This car left the factory a 421 automatic with power steering and brakes, light group option and 3.42 positraction. Along the way someone added aftermarket air conditioning that is still in the car. They cut the console to install it. I have another perfect console that goes with the sale if you want to remove the cut one. The original 421 engine had several cracks in the block so it was discarded. What goes with the car is a code XF 4 bolt main 428 from a 1969. It needs to be-rebuilt. The long shaft Turbo 400 already has been done and is ready to install. That was $1200.00 alone. Some of the interior can still be reused. All 4 interior door panels are real nice as seen in the photos. The bottom cushion of the rear seat and the passenger bucket seat are fine. The carpeting, the headliner, the passenger seat and the rear window package tray need replacing. NO rust in the floors. In the first set of photos I wetted the car to show just how straight it is. It has a SUPER body and again, it is the 1966 factory paint. Nothing replaced or hidden. The tailpanel has a couple of dents that need work but very minor. All the chrome and stainless is very nice. The rear bumper will need re-plating. The windshield has a crack in it and will need replacing. All the other glass is perfect.
