Vehicle Detail
I have my 1972 Chevy Cheyenne up for auction. This truck is not perfect but is in very, good shape. The truck has less than 9000 miles since being completely rebuilt. The stock 350 was bored to 355 cubic inch and runs very well. The person who built the truck had lots of parts chromed, under the hood as well as striker plates and several other parts. The tranny is a turbo 350 and it shifts through the gears as it should. Look at the pictures closely and you will see this is not an ordinary 1972 pickup. It is much better!! The antenna has been frenched in the cab, fuel tank has been relocated to under the bed with the fuel door in the bed, nice inlaid wood bed, the stainless in the bed is like new.Heartbeat of America bed cover, custom painted emblems and tailgate. The hood and tailgate open easier than a brand new truck. The truck rides on Western wheels with fair tires. The tires have plenty of tread but have been on the truck for the past 8 years. The engine breathes through aluminized dual exhaust with chrome tips. The interior is in great shape. This truck has never been smoked or eaten in. The dash has the built in tac and is as clean as new. The truck is a joy to dive with the custom seat with fold down arm rest and tilt wheel. The only two items that need any attention are, one of the exhaust manifold donuts has a leak and the felt around the driver window has a bulge. The A/C is not charged but the compressor turns freely. Here in Colorado, I have never needed the A/C so I did not bother servicing it. Over all this is one of the nicest trucks I have seen in this year model. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as the truck is for sale elsewhere. Open or enclosed delivery is an option that can be negotiated. The truck can sit in my shop for as long as needed after the auction as long as it is paid for in full. I will also consider trades for a very nice tandem dual flatbed trailer, 60's Nova, Chevelle, Impala and I might even lower my standards and take a 1965-1970 Mustang. Give me a call at home(719) 478-2213 or cell phone (719) 510-4582 . My name is Ken and if I can answer any questions, just ask. I am open to reasonable offers but I will not give this away.
