Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1986 Porsche 911 Targa Carrera Rolling chasis, with no motor or tranny, but I have a chevy renegade hybrid kit to install. I bought the car west of Detroit Michagan, off a man who had planned on doing the same thing, he had no history on car why motor was removed. The car is in excellent condition and you can see by interior pics it is a true 74,000 mile car from condition. The car looks totally complete minus motor and tranny, even has AC compressor and everything is all there. The car need a key switch, it also is equiped with power window, but without key could not see if they worked, but sure they do, did put a battery in it and all lights lit up. The cars wheels in excellent shape as well as front tires, will need rear tires. Drivers side mirror glass only is missing. I had everything which was needed to complete, bought, but a gentlemen in Hammond Louisana, named Ken Burke, german auto center, stole my money. I paid for tranny, clutch and cross member, side mirror, key switch, well i sent him the money in November of 2009, and now after almost a year he will not answer phone and i am out almost $1600.00. That included shipping. As far as the Chevy Renegade Hybrid Kit, this it what i have. The motor is a pre 1993, Vortec V6, which had only 3000 miles on it, it has distributer, aluminum water pump, edelbrock intake, holley 650 carb, oil cooler, headers, and complete exhaust system, with flowmaster muffler. this motor has around 200 - 225 HP, just about the same as the 3.2 original porsche motor. by using the V6 rather than the V8 chevy, in keeps u from upgrading the torsion bars, because of weight. The Aluminum radiator and cooling fan as u can see is almost new, also have the porsche to chevy motor adaptor plate, and flywheel, which is alot of the exspense. any questions or parts u made need, most of the rest of the parts can be fabricated by yourself, such as radiator ducting and things like this. but there website is www.renegagehybrids.com . very nice people to deal with, like i say, i just lost my heart to finish because of dealing with this man, who stole my money, so my lose in your gain, because car will be sold, and could not find better donor car than this targa carrera. dash has very small crack, which at this age is very rare. other than that, i left the seats lose because im sure who ever buys car will adjust the seats to fit them. and i can fit every part, that i have with the car inside for shipping. any questions at all fill free to email me, car is garaged kept, and since i bought last october has never been out. this is a perfect way to have a 911, and be able to afford to work on. I have 3 other porsches, so need to get this out of garage, because my health and spirit is just bad right now. good luck bidding, and any other pics you may need, be glad to take for you thankyouOn Aug-23-10 at 22:02:54 PDT, seller added the following information: CAR CAN BE SOLD WITHOUT CHEVY HYBRID KIT MAKE OFFER
