1964 Ford Falcon 2dr with 1965 power train and custom trim. Originally had a 260 8cyl with three speed on the column. Full conversion with 289/ 4 barrel carb and 4 speed transmission on the floor with Hurst Shifter. Has new (rebuilt) differential. The differential is original but rebuilt & limited slip/posi was added According to door tag the gear ratio is 3.25:1 It has a 5 bolt bell housing Stamping in the head is: C5AL9425-M Engine block stamp (on block behind starter) C40E-6015C. I found conflicting info on Falcon & Mustang websites as to if the code identifies a K code or C code 289. Based on the 4 barrel FoMoCo that was on the engine, I am guessing it is a K code but not 100% sure. Charging system changed from Generator to Alternator. Have a FoMoCo carb in a box that was on the 289 conversion & is included. The front bucket seats are out of an early model Mitsubishi Eclipse Original set of keys. Original AM radio is included (but not currently installed). It worked when I took it out. Interior is custom and spotless. Have original bill of sale from Brewster Motor Co., Ford Dealer in Ft. Lupton, Co. True Colorado car without rust. Clear Colorado title. Odometer reads 21,757 miles but have no idea what the true mileage is.. Only thing left to do is front suspension. Approx 150 miles put on the vehicle in the last 10 years. It has mostly been in storage and driven on an occasional summer weekend There are three spots on the body where the paint has chipped. The worst is on the hood just to the driver’s side of the hood ornament. Color is Gunmetal Blue. Spare parts include 2 tires/wheels, new water pump, set of 1965 taillight lenses, Original seat belt parts, FoMoCo 4 barrel carb, misc. gaskets and seals. The Tag on the door reads “62D Z 14 31K 31K 51 4 1” but don’t forget that the engine & trans are NOT original Brakes are drum front & rear I am posting this for my son.
