1998 mercury mountaineer all wheel drive, melrose edition.with moon roof, 39500 ACTUAL MILES ! this mountaineer was tied up in litigation for 8 years ! it sat in storage all these years. besides a couple of minor dings, its in really nice shape ! the leather interior is in excellant shape, no wear and tear ! tires are 98% close to new, it has a brand new battery and exhaust system with warranty.air conditioning is ice cold ! it has a cd player. it is 100% mechanically sound and drives absolutely new ! i have a car fax it was a one owner until i bought it. it has never been smoked in ! the downside , the directionals work most of the time,some times they don't ! i believe because it has been sitting so long the contacts are dirty, the more you use them they should make better contact. you could get in this car and drive across the country worry free ! you will NOT find a nicer mountaineer under 40,000 miles. you don't need to spend $40,000 for the same mountaineer only older !
