Up for auction is very nice 1967 Galaxie 500 4 door sedan with only 48000 actual miles. This car is super clean !! 289 V8, manual shift transmission that runs and drives like new. New brakes and recent tune up. Does not use or leak any oil. Runs quiet. No lifter noise . Very peppy with the stick shift. Very dependable. Lotsa trouble free miles left in this car. The interior in this car is unbelieveable ! It doesn't appear to have ever been smoked in. The original dash is impeccable! Absolutely no cracks anywhere (including the speaker section) It's obvious this car has been garaged through the years. The headliner is also perfect original and tight as a drum. No flaws what so ever in the seats and door panels. The carpets and pedals show little to no wear, as a car with 48000 miles should. Cosmetically this car shows very well. The original lime gold color looks great on this car. Paint looks good, but isn't perfect There are rock chips and various blemishes throughout, but nothing to justify a paint job. There is no through rust anywhere. The rear bumper has superfical scratches and doesn't shine as good as it should, but is presentable. This car isn't perfect, but real close. There's a lotta life left in this car. Classic 4 doors and wagons are making a huge comeback. This car is a real head turner and a cool cruiser just the way it sets.
