NISSAN 240SX - First the Glue was stripped and the seams were stitch welded. Then I did suspension, the real investment on this car are the things that you can not see. It has completely adjustable tubular suspension. The rear sub-frame is updated from a S13 to S15. It has solid Aluminum bushings anchoring the sub-frame to the Chassis. The Lower control arms are Imported from DriftWorks in GB Orange Powdercoat. Upper Links are polished aluminum Motora. Coil overs are Ksport, a close US copy to Kei Office. Everything is in brand new condition because the car has not been corner weighted. The wheels are brand new Sportmax 562 gold 18's with stretch drift tires, all four corners are max lip. The brakes are 300zx front/rear and new drilled slotted rotors. With the extremely light weight build my concern with a big brake kit is that it may cause the wheels to lock up instead of stop. They can always be upgraded to 5 lug later if desired and big brakes can then be added, but in my opinion the money is better spent on a paint job or cage design. The RB25DET has a Hybrid top mount upgraded custom turbo setup, T3 exhaust housing and T4 Compressor. The Piping is custom with total bend of under 360deg. Inverse mount Intercooler for 30% increased efficiency. Controlling the engine is a Power FC with commander boost controller and MaP. I have the Maf sensor on the car at this time just to start it. It has not been dyno tuned, then a Map can be added and it can be ran open turbo as seen in pic. The fuel system is a 16gal cell Aeromotive Typhoon Pump, braided lines and fittings. I have a 16 point roll cage that has to be finished. The four main points are in the car now at this time. Most of the glass has been replaced and Lexan windows have been added to make a power to weight ratio near that of a motorcycle. The car has a 50mm rear fenders and 30mm front, with the more aesthetic single scoop design. The body kit is there, although it is not brand name, just a simple easily replaceable drift battle Kit. It also has a carbon fiber hood. I have to sell the car only because I am switching careers from a mechanic to an engineer and need money for tuition. It is terrible to have to sell the car and I never expect to get back all the money I have spent to get the car this far. It is a great deal for a dedicated Shop to put finishing touches on and showcase their tuning abilities. This could easily run 500hp on the stock block and be great for a season of racing, set some records, and land some sponsors. Some internals could put it well over 1000hp. All the painful wiring and hard to find swap pieces are here and together, all working in one piece. Wouldn't you love to start at this point on a car? It is VERY CLOSE to completion and You can finish it in any style of Cage/Paint that you desire. Money prices are absorbed into this cost, like: shipping, blueprinting, designing, planning, etc.. And compared to what I have spent on parts it is already at a reduced price. I really wish I didn't have to sell but it will be better off in the hands of someone who has the time.
