Up for sale is a 1949 Plymouth special deluxe. This has been a father and son project which we spent about three years in process, including frame off restoration to bring it to present condition. Included are engine rebuild .030 over, new suspension front and rear, front disk brake conversion with power boost, GM 200-4R overdrive automatic transmission with TCI constant pressure valve body and a Lokar shifter. The engine has a 2bbl Holly carb with split exhaust and a MSD ignition. The instrument panel is original for the vehicle. We have driven it to several shows. The body work was done by us, but painted by a professional shop. The car will cruise at 55 to 60 mph without any problem. We have put only about 1500 miles on the car since rebuild.
