Vehicle Detail

Thank you for checking out this listing. While on vacation in Nevada visiting my Sister---and indulging in Vegas activities--- This car was listed for sale in my Sisters' neighborhood. Having owned a couple of Jensens in the past.... I went and took a look. While most folks buy souvenirs that fit in their luggage to take home--- I decided to send this back to Florida to save. Generally, most early Jensens have meaningful rust issues--mostly below the doors, wheel wells, underneath, and trunk floor. This car has been in the desert ...... and has things I never see in a project 1800. For instance, The original two seams below the doors, taillights, and front headlights are all present and very nice. The jack points and under supports are PRISTINE...... By now most Jensen pieces have been stripped, stolen, or " upgraded "...... but not here. Present is the rare early oval license plate light, unpimpled chrome taillights, and both door ajar light covers uncracked. The Cowhorns and wrap around rear bumpers are very straight. The raised cowl vent is present. The map pockets are here, and so are the impossible to find Jensen turbine hubcaps and sail quarter " VOLVO" flag emblems. Missing is the " eggcrate " grill, trim around the front and rear glass, correct exhaust pipes, Correct steering wheel, spare tire, jack,T bar, correct front seats, shift knob, fuel sending unit, and the front white flashers. In the engine bay, The color code is 70 ==red===and 302 for white interior. The engine is free and original===I have not attempted to run it. Missing is the top half of the distributer, all spark plug wires and coil wire. The car has no keys. While I admit this car needs everything---it is also the nicest starting condition body I have ever seen for a project Jensen. It is also the most complete one I have seen in the past 5 years. The chassis # is 726== so it is one of the earliest that arrived in the States. Given Winter is approaching== I am offering the car this week at no reserve starting at my break even for purchase, transport ,and ebay fees. This would make a super winter project. I will not mind if there is no interest=== but I wont be surprised if a restorer wants to get a hold of this either. I am buried in a 65 restoration project now--and it will be a while before I can get to this one. Car will be offered as is-- and sold w/ a bill of sale.I can be reached at 1-321-631-five five 99 before 10PM EST for any discussion or questions. I have sold several 1800's to Europe-- so a Foreign bid is welcome w/ Wire transfer for payment. I will not accept any bids where a zero is next to the feedback status count. Hopefully, the pictures will give one a good idea of the clean body== which is the main battle w/ these. Last, every missing piece listed---I have the correct parts for up in the attic somewhere. I will discuss -w/ buyer only- additional purchase of these items if wanted. They are otherwise not for sale. Thank you in advance !
