1959 Austin Healey Sprite Here I was again riding my bicycle through the worst part of town. I was avoiding the drug dealers, gangsters, recyclers, hookers, syringes, and all the bologna. I had almost made it to the safe haven when I spotted this little car sitting idle. I could tell the engine was out as the front end was headed skyward. My real estate partner wanted one of these bad, so I left a note. My call was returned by a stern voice questioning my motives. It was a tough customer on the other end and I knew he wouldn’t take any guff. Still he was motivated to sell and we struck a deal and I hauled the little car home. My partner told me his stable of cars was full. I am not ready to tackle this project. The transmission is missing and apparently a Datsun 510 trans was in there before. There have been lots of handling modifications done to the car and frankly they are over my head. This is a beautiful little car and everybody loves it. If you don’t want to take it off of my hands, that's no problem because it doesn’t weigh me down at all.
