Superb car. This car started life as a 1986 T-type. The car was purchased from the original owner in 1996 in San Bernadino, California. It is a straight car with no history of damage, and continues so to this day. Lots of work done to the car has resulted in an excellent interior, the ride quality, as well as the powerplant/drivetrain. Most recently, the interior received a drastic re-vamp. Rear bench seats were done in Grand National trim, while the front seats were replaced with 8 way Porsche Carrera electric leather seats which match the rear seats quite well. A Leather wrapped Nardi steering wheel was also installed. Also included is a functioning ASC sunroof. Suspension work : Bilstein shocks Oversized sway bars Non-squeaking polyurethane bushings This combination gets the job done. The drivetrain: There are Kenne Bell upgrades, including a transmission upgrade, a larger down pipe, larger injectors, and an adjustable fuel regulator. There is also an impressive aftermarket turbocharger. The dash has properly functioning VDO gauges removed from a true GNX. For proper cooling, the car has a Griffin "NASCAR type" radiator with dual mounted electric fans, and a Kenne Bell "Big Boy" intercooler. This car can easily be made to be much quicker. Right now it runs at about 450 horsepower. Once again, this car is quite unique. It is comfortable regarding both the interior and the ride quality, it is fast as any street-legal muscle car (while still very reliable), and it has the undeniable charm of a Grand National GNX. Also, a new carpet and headliner were installed only a couple months ago. It has Dunlop Sport 8000's with plenty of tread still on them all the way around. This car's only shortcoming is some cracked plastic on the center console. Come an own a perfect GNX clone for a fraction of the cost of a real one!!! The Porsche seats were professiionally dyed to match and look great. The VDO guages are from a true GNX. The ASC sunroof is FULL power. Also has a full leather NARDI steering wheel. The Griffin radiator is full aluminium with dual aftermarket fans. The Kenne Bell intercooler is a front mount upgrade Also has a Scan Master ECU and a Knock Sensor Gauge mounted on the A pillar. Stereo is a Phillips CD player and has Rockford Fosgate speakers and Sub box with built in JBL Audio amp and larger alternator.
