Thanks for looking at my auction. This auction is for a 1992 Toyota Camry LE for parts or repair. The car has 284,177 miles on it and is located in Chapin, South Carolina (near Columbia, SC). SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY!! We have just experienced our first two non-paying Ebay sales when we listed this car and it is SO frustrating! Please don't waste your time or ours by bidding on this auction if you do not intend to pay. Thank you. We are counting on the fact that the "third time is the charm!" PLEASE only bid if you will pay - please. My mechanic tells me that my beloved 1992 Toyota Camry LE has thrown a rod, so it does not run now and will need to be towed. We are now selling it for parts or repair. This car is being sold “as-is” with no warranties. It was running good for us up to the day it threw a rod, but we can make no guarantees about it at all. The purchaser will need to make arrangements to come pick up the car within 5 days of the end of the auction. This has been an awesome car for us – we purchased it new in late 1991. We have a clear title on the car and are the only ones who have ever owned this car. We maintained it well; we were driving it every day until the day it “threw a rod” and it was running good. The air conditioner, windows, and radio with tape player all worked well; the mirrors are new. The only thing I know of that didn’t work was the antenna, which just won’t go down. The body and interior are both in good shape for a car its age, with relatively few dings and dents. There are a few small dents in the driver side where a deer ran into the side of the car recently, and they can be seen in the pictures. The engine and transmission were both replaced in 2006 when the car had about 225,000 miles on it. The tires were purchased less than a year ago (in July 2009) and have been driven about 10,000 miles. The interior is also in good shape for a car this age. There are no tears in the interior, and the car has never been smoked in. I just steam-cleaned the seats back in April, wouldn’t you know! We are sad to be parting with this car, as it is has been a great vehicle for us for so many years. Perhaps you can extend its life further with repairs or let it live on as parts in another vehicle!
