It is now more cost effective to run a 21 day best offer style auction. The problem with that is nobody calls, nobody writes, nobody offers and nobody can bid. The auction style frenzy is lost and the dealers price as well as all the info is right there for the buyer to see, what is the point to call us? Sadly, the car market has become a price game more then a quality game. I know when I go to buy a car for inventory the LAST question I ask is what Is the lowest Number you will sell at. Unfortunately that seems to be the first question I am always asked on the sell side. As a buyer I ask about the quality of the car, about the business selling me the car, the history of the car the options etc etc etc. After I have gathered my information I take into account the cars value and make my offer. I know from being on the buy side my offer is always lower then the asking price so I have devised a plan to ask something outlandish in the hopes of generating calls to inform customers about the car and have them make educated, reasonable and respectful offers. My friend traded the car in to that same TX dealer for a Brand New LP640 Roadster and now this amazing low mile Yellow Spyder is in my hands. The car is a rare Giallo Midas with black leather interior and matching yellow piping. The car is flawless and still has a few months left of warranty! This Gallardo has been babied since new and was kept in a climate controlled garage with the original owners collection of exotics. This Gallardo was always serviced at an authorized Lamborghini service center (Prestige Miami) and comes complete with the Books. Tools and Keys.
