Vehicle Detail

This is a very nice 66 fastback,I bought this car back in 1995?. The car sat next to a silo from around 1976,sunk in the mud. The motor, trans, body and glass was all intact but in bad shape. I then tore the car completely apart.I rebuilt the motor the trans and the complete brake system. I then replaced the rear frame and floor pans, quarter panels, door skins, fenders. Then I did the whole interior, top to bottom. The radiator, belts, hoses, power steering system, ball joints, shocks, front springs all are new. The bumpers, weather stripping, front end alignment, alternator and everything else you can imagine is new. I built this car for my wife's mom,she drove this car for around 8 years, many parades and shopping trips. Who ever wins this car can drive it anywhere they want. There will not be any problems, this is a super running and driving car.The interior is starting to show its age because of fading. The interior and most body parts were bought from NPD. The seat upholstery is faded and it is a little irritating when I think of the time it took me to replace the interior. I think the light colored part of the comfort weave can be dyed. I just do not have the time or money now. When I started this project it was just me and my wife. Now there are three awesome kids in the picture.I just do not have the time anymore. I am also selling a 1967 s-code GT fast back with the frame motor brakes suspension all done and original to the car, then I will sell a 1967 302 4 speed convertible. This is untouched but complete. I most likely forgot alot of details. I will answer any question the best that I can.I have these cars for sale local to me. I have to keep the right to end auction if I sell the 66 to some one around here. I know the amount of money I spent on this car. The time is just about off the scale, and I did do everything myself.I have ran my own auto shop for 20 plus years. Besides, who wants to rescue there mother in law on a hot summer day???????????. I love her dearly,so I built her a 66 coupe, canary yellow, that is why this is for sale.. The car looks good, the paint is showing its age also. I took a picture of the roof line were the paint is starting to bubble, There is surface rust on the grill area. Nothing is that bad, I did not try to cover anything up with under coating, I did not vacuum it or wax it,I want you to see the good and bad, although there is more good, It just needs a good cleaning.I also just dented the driver rear upper quarter panel,I took a picture of that also. Please ask any questions, or better yet come and look at it. Please don't bid if you will not follow through, this is a solid car. Happy bidding. Dan...
