1998 4.6L Black Ford Mustang V-8. This vehicle runs fine but has some chips in the paint, and shows signs of age. It could use a new paint job. There is surface rust as shown on one of the pictures (Rust in paint chips), but the body is sound. The other exterior picture shows paint damage on the rear passenger side near the spoiler where someone egged the car. Tried to buff the car but the stain persists. We put in a new engine around 5 years ago, it was installed by our local Ford dealer the new motor has approx 35 to 45 k miles on it. The interior is black leather with no tears in the seats. The steering wheel leather is peeling but we recently installed a new wheel cover. The floor carpet shows signs of age and has a few stains but is expected with this age of car. We had all the belts changed around seven months ago. The air conditioner was just recharged and blows very cold. The tires are fine and have plenty of tread. We just had it smogged last month. The title is clear and we have it on hand We are selling because we bought a new car for my wife and it will just sit there. It is a fun vehicle and would be a great car for someone wanting a sports car without spending a bunch of money. It could use a paint job but is fine without it. Known issues. 1. We have seen the coolant light come on when the water is low, but we have not had any other problems. 2. The rear sway bar was cracked and it was removed and it needs a new one, it has been off for several years and still drives fine.
