Vehicle Detail
1989 Maserati-made Chrysler Touring Coupe, two-seater, two-door convertible with both hard and soft tops. Four cylinder engine with Turbo. Automatic, three-speed transmission. New CV axles, struts, shocks, tires, tower bearings, hoses, door switches. It looks very good; it runs very good--no major problems, just some minor cosmetic issues. The speedometer works, but the odometer does not work. I know the last owner, however, and the car was parked for most of the time right after the odometer stopped working (at about 95k miles)--and I have driven it very little. I took it on a trade, and I would prefer to have more seats. The paint is original (has some chips, scratches, and a couple spots of missing clear-coat). The paint is otherwise very good, high-quality paint. There is a small fiberglass break near one reverse light. The hard top is very good--has real crystal windows. The soft top is functional (being used right now) but has some dry rot in the stitches, a couple tears (one about baseball sized, L-shaped --is patched but patch is loose--and the other tear is very small--maybe an inch long. The edge hem is coming apart. The interior is mostly all leather. The seat tops are cloth. The dash is leather and it is dried out some--shrinking a bit. Some of the plastic trim is broken at passenger door threshold and around seat back release lever. The seats are power, but the driver seat does not currently adjust (don't know if it's a switch or motor issue). Overall, for a 1989 car, it is in very good condition. It has some minor things to repair if someone wants it to be collector-worthy. It might sound rough as I list all its little faults, but I am just a very particular person, and I would want to know every little thing. The car runs real good and it's fun to drive. The car is in Cedar City UT--about 2.5 hours north of Las Vegas, or 3.5 hours south of Salt Lake City.
