1979 Porsche 928 Project Car. I bought this 928 with a bad engine several years ago with the intention of restoring it. However it has become apparent to me I have too many projects and something has to go. I bought a good short block for the project. This is a non-interference engine so you can not damage the valves. I had the heads reground. The purchase also includes a new set of headers and assorted parts (including the timing belt, gaskets, water pump) ready to be installed. I will provide electronic version of the factory service manual with the sale. There is no engine currently in the car. The best part is 1979 was the last year of the mechanical fuel injection. Thanks for all the interest on the car. I have one request to all potential bidders. Please do not bid if you do not have the funds to pay and a means to transport the vehicle. On several recent Ebay transactions for large items like cars and boats I have had to list and sell the items 3 times before a winning bidder paid.
