We have a 1958 Lincoln Continental Mark III Convertible. THIS IS A RESTORATION PROJECT. This car has spent the last 25 plus years in storage. I am selling this car for a friend of mine who purchased about 10 years ago with every intention of restoring it. Now with too many projects going, he has decided to sell this one. The car has not been running for years. The previous owners had it running before storing it for 10-15 years. The engine I am sure will need a complete overhaul. This car is about 95% complete. After looking at all of the parts there was nothing obvious missing. It is however apart and I am sure there are some trim or misc. pieces missing. All of the major components are here. The body on this car is pretty solid. The 2 front fenders show signs they may have been repaired years ago. There is some small rust holes in the top of the fenders above the lights. (Very common on these Lincolns). The door bottoms, trunk, floors all look very solid. There will be some small repairs needed where you would expect them. No major rust or big holes. The chrome pieces like bumpers, door handles, light bezels etc. will need re-plated. Some pieces could be buffed but for a true show quality they will need re-plated. The interior has been replaced with a black vinyl. Again for true show you would probably replace with leather. The convertible top looks to be in good condition. The top looks like it had been relaced at some point. The car has a 430 engine with 80,978 mile on it.
