No Reserve Auction!!! Up for Auction is our Family's 1930 Ford Model A pick-up. My father bought the truck in July of 1972. The paint is pretty rough, but it is mechanically very sound and a great runabout. I have an auto restoration shop in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and we have decided to sell this truck as we "thin the herd". In the summer, I drive it 10 miles back and forth to work everyday. It stops well, shifts well, and fires right up every morning. The truck drives straight and true at 50 mph. The engine has less than 1000 miles since it was rebuilt and it has a new carberautor. This truck sat from 1980-1994. It was run for one summer and then put back into heated storage. It sat in our warehouse from 1995 until this year. I have serviced it and everything works well. The paint is popping in a few spots and looks rough. The rear fenders appear to be fiberglass. Inside, all the gauges work, and the seat has new leather. The doors need to be trued. The windows and glass are all good. The steering is tight. Good clutch and all new fluids. The mechanical brakes function well as does the parking brake. I have run the truck up to Yellowstone National Park and it is really fun to drive. Someone could leave the truck as is for character or it could be repainted. This would be a great project for someone to tinker with. No rust or hidden mechanical issues. If interested my shop could repaint this truck and straighten out any imperfections on the body.
