The vehicle currently has 79,411 miles, was removed from service in July 2010 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The exterior is in fair to good condition. There are multiple small, light rock chips on the hood, with 2 being larger size (1 is approximately half dime size & the other is approximately half quarter size). The driver’s side headlamp housing plastic is worn. There are some light scratches on the trunk lid. There are some nicks & paint peeling on the rear bumper. There is a large dent on the passenger side rear quarter panel resulting from a person running into the vehicle while being used in an official capacity. There are numerous door dings on the passenger side front and rear door moldings. The interior is in good condition. There are 3 small, rectangular cutouts beneath the steering wheel on the left side of the lower dash from where some auxiliary switches were previous installed. There are 2 small screw holes on the right side of the lower center console from where a mic holder was previously installed. The driver’s side passenger door interior door lock tab is broken, but functional. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was most recently serviced in June 2010, at 77,784 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following: At the June 2010 service, the right front market light bulb was replaced & the terminals cleaned. In Feb 2009, at 65,805 miles, a seat belt stop kit was installed. In Nov 2008, at 63,931 miles, the vehicle was checked for a power steering noise & had the power steering fluid drained & “Lucas” power steering additive added. In Oct 2008, at 63,365 miles, the left front turn signal bulb was replaced. Also in Oct 2008, at 62,678 miles, the left front marker light bulb, front brake pads & rotors, and the wiper blades were replaced. At this time, the tires were rotated and the front calipers flushed. In Sep 2008, at 61,827 miles, the right rear turn signal bulb was replaced. In Mar 2008, at 56,235 miles, the right front turn signal bulb was replaced. In Feb 2008, at 55,018 miles, the coolant thermostat & gasket were replaced. Also, the seat belt stop button was replaced. In Dec 2007, at 53,627 miles, the right front turn signal bulb was replaced. In Oct 2007, at 51,145 miles, the front sway bar connecting links were replaced. In Jan 2007, at 42,172 miles, the exhaust hanger, battery, and all 4 tires were replaced. In June 2006, at 34, 865 miles, the vehicle was taken to the local Pontiac dealer for a warranty repair involving the front ABS wheel speed sensors. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process. We cannot accept “Buy It Now” offers or trades. High bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle from Champaign, Illinois. High bidder is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs.
