Own a piece of Honda Hurricane history with this beautiful extremely low mile Honda CBR1000F. With only 4,701 babied miles, this is the one you have been searching for. The 1990 edition was the only Hurricane produced with this stunning All-American Red, White, and Blue trim. This machine is all original with the exception of new Michelin Pilot tires and a new battery. I had this exact model in graduate school years ago. Upon graduating, I sold my Hurricane to start my airline pilot career. Over a decade later, I began my search to locate another one. A low mile, non-damaged, all original Hurricane is very difficult to find. Alas, I found one in Las Vegas, NV in a private collectors home. Among his 20 cycles was this beauty with less than 4,000 miles. Not wanting to add to its mileage, I flew from Atlanta, GA to Las Vegas, NV to bring the cycle home. After arriving in Vegas, I bought a 1986 Dodge Cargo Van, bolted the cycle down in the back, and transported the cycle 34 hours back to my home in Atlanta. This rare beauty has never been dropped, wrecked, or laid down. The previous owner was a collector of fine automobiles and motorcycles in his fifties. He kept all of his collectibles in his very large home and garage facilities on his property. Since my purchase, only my wife and I have ridden together on this cycle. Being an airline pilot, I am very meticulous about upkeep and maintenance, thus this Hurricane is in flawless mechanical condition. It has always been stored in a climate-controlled garaged and always washed after every ride. The finish is stunning and beautiful. I believe in full disclosure, thus, concerning blemishes, it has a minor scratch on the right-side original exhaust pipe, one left-side fairing has a stress crack from a fairing screw being over-tightened, and paint touch ups around the tank refuel point...all occurring prior to my purchase. Being a 20 year old Classic, these minor blemishes are hardly preventable unless the cycle would have been crated for twenty years. All of these blemishes were documented to me when I purchased the cycle. In other words, not a single blemish was incurred during my ownership. If I weren’t so busy and planned on keeping the cycle, I would have repaired these with minimal work and expense. As you can see from all the pictures, this 1990 Hurricane is a gorgeous machine. The engine has tens of thousands of miles left in it. Most Hurricanes I have seen on various sites are newer models and still have over 30,000 miles on them….and their owners still rave about them!!! This one has only 4,701!!! They are great machines and look better than most brand new cycles. Honda did something right when they wrapped this engine in a rocket-fairing!!! It’s nice to own something this classic and have heads turn asking if it’s brand new. Fuel efficient, lightening-bolt fast, and a classic in every sense, don’t let this low-mile missile pass you by!
