1955 Jaguar XK140 OTS (Roadster) Numbers Matching Car Restored in 1993, One Owner Since 1958 Rust Free Car, Excellent Running Condition This car was purchased by the second owner in 1958 from Brentwood Motors in Santa Monica, California. The car stayed in California until 1961, when the owner moved to Champaign, Illinois. The car was driven for a few more years and then put in storage until 1993, when the owner had the car restored. The car was then brought to Santa Fe, New Mexico and driven on an occasional basis in good weather until recently. The brake master cylinder, all wheel cylinders, and brake shoes were replaced in our shop in 2006. The car is in excellent running condition, and all components are in working order. The car has been inspected in our own AAA Approved Repair Facility by an ASE Certified Master Tech, and is ready to drive and enjoy immediately. The car has a few small nicks and scratches, and the left wheel skirt has some touch up work. The paint is "driver" quality and does have some orange peel, but there is no rust on the car and the leather interior is exceptionally nice. The engine compartment is not detailed, but is clean, though there are some oil leaks.
