1949 Ford F-6 Bonus Built Fire Engine Truck Bought new in 1949 by West Alexander,PA Fire Dept. Sold by them in 1971 to the Military Order of the Cooties, which they kept until 2009. I bought in January 2009 for an antique fire engine restorer. I am only the third registered owner. It has been garage kept until this month. Flathead V-8 Vacuum assist brakes 4 speed transmission 2 Red Beacon Ray Jr.'s and 1 Beacon Ray Hilltop Light All ladders, nozzles, lights, siren, stay with truck. Hose bed and hose included (not pictured) Pump disconnected, unsure if pumps. Work done since Jan '09: * New master cylinder. * New brake booster. *All brake lines replaced. * New wiring harness, rear lights, reverse lights. * New vacuum lines. * Updated to 12 volt system. * New coil, spark plugs, spark plug wires. * Tune-up. * New glass and mirrors all the way around. * Interior completly restored. * New weatherstrip. Excellent running condition! Drive it Home! Tires, brake system, lights, radiator, starting system all clear, NO KNOWN ISSUES. DRIVE IT HOME!
