This bidding is for a 1928 Model A Ford for pickup in northwestern Connecticut. The vehicle has been stored in a barn for approximately 50 years. It was removed from storage and minimal effort was spent getting it running. The vehicle starts and runs. The radiator holds coolant, the tires (badly deteriorated) hold air, the brakes work, and the generator charges. The engine and drive train seem to be in very good mechanical condition. It ran well when stored. The interior is mostly stripped. All four side windows have good glass and move up and down. The window cranks handles are missing. The rear window is out, but the glass is good. The windshield glass is in poor condition. The gas tank needs cleaning and sealing. The car was purchased from the registered owner (probably in 1956), but the registration is not available. The pictures show rust through on both front fenders and running boards. The top is covered with metal. My understanding is that in CT, the engine number serves as the VIN and together with a bill of sale is sufficient for registering the vehicle.
