This 1996 Beauty is the last year for this body style and has true knockoff wire wheels. This is one Classy looking 96' Jaguar XJS Convertible. It has a Clean Carfax. This car is an awesome beauty, I get complimented everywhere I go. You just don't see pristine examples like this one around much anymore. This is one sweet convertible! It is a 16 year old car though and has some very minor pebble chips, look at the photos carefully and even still you probably would not spot them. It drives like a dream with the smooth and powerful 4.0 L 6cylinder engine which, in this car, gives plenty of power but still gets good gas mileage. The 4 speed automatic transmission runs, drives, and shifts clean and smoothly as it should. There are 3 driving "modes" you can set; "Sport, Normal, and Economy." The body is in terrific shape. These beautiful Jaguar lines set it apart from all the other drones on the boulevard. It doesn't matter what angle you are looking at it from it always looks spectacular. It is a very unique Champagne Metallic which makes it very appealing to/for both sexes. Not a boy racer, this is a car both you and your wife will love to drive. That's why there's a "his/hers" shifter! Look at the photos and see how straight every panel is; no dents anywhere, just a few knicks and pebble marks on the front valance/hood and not a hint of rust anywhere. The convertible top is in new condition and works perfectly. The motor is strong and it goes up and down quickly and smoothly as it should. The back windows automatically roll down when you drop the top which is cool. It has the true knockoff spoked wheels which look really awesome on this particular body style. The tires are good with plenty of tread left on them. I have the factory wheels as well. The air conditioning was just serviced and it blows nice and cold. The interior of this beautiful Jag is extremely clean. Check out the photos to see how clean the carpets, seats, and entire interior is. Clean clear glass everywhere. Power windows, power locks, power memory-heated leather seats that are in beautiful shape with some expected wear and tear on the drivers seat and bolsters (look carefully at drivers seat photo for condition). The oatmeal-tan leather with contrasting darker piping looks elegant with the wood grain and the beautiful champagne metallic paint.
