1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Dan Gurney Special NO RESERVE We originally we bought this car for its interior to go in my husband's big block cougar. We did the Marti Report and it came back as a Dan Gurney Special. So we don't have the heart to take it apart. It comes with a 289 4 barrel with solid lifters, automatic C-4 transmission. The car needs new floor pans and hood. Overall it is in good condition, no major body issues. We bought it for the interior and motor, but with it being the DGS we just can't do it. The motor is very strong, we suggest rebuilding the carb. This would make an aweasome car with half the money of a mustang, and twice the car. There is a factory Tac, all guages seem to be working well. The seats have been resently recovered. $500 paypal deposit will be required within 48 hrs of auction end.
